Those generous guys and gals at Paddy Power Poker HQ have given players an extra incentive to qualify for the Irish Poker Open 2008 through Paddy Power. It was announced today that all the all Paddy Power online qualifiers are competing for 5 y4ears free entry to the tournament. Dubbed the "Paddy First" promotion, if the player who wins the 2008 Irish Open qualifed online at paddypowerpoker.com, not only will they take home part of the €3 Million Guaranteed, but they will win free entry to the tournament for the next 5 years.

If an online qualifier doesn't win the event outright then the highest finishing Paddy Power qualifier will receive a free pass to the Irish Open 2009.

The 2008 Irish Open event is going to be bigger than ever. Paddy Power have increased changed venue to increase the campacity. The tournament will now be held at the Citywest Hotel, Ireland's premier Conference, Leisure & Golf Resort over the Easter Weekend 19th-24th march. The tournament will accomadate 1000 players (over two Day 1's) who will compete for a prizepool of over €3 Million Guaranteed.
