Swedish high stakes legend and poker pro Jonas 'Nebuchad' Danielsson signed with Ladbrokes Poker today. Arguably the poker world's worst kept secret was finally revealed at the Ladbrokes Poker Media event on Thursday 3rd July. If his recent performances are anything to go by he may well be in with a great chance of making it into the latter stages of the main event.
Nebuchad has already cashed at the 2008 WSOP in the $1500 6 handed event, then the 10k Heads Up World championship event and the $2,500 6 handed event. Jonas who's now in Las Vegas as part of Team Ladbrokes will be playing in the main event. To date he has won more then $3,000,000 online and earlier this year was awarded best online player at the Scandinavian Poker Awards in Copenhagen.
Jonas was born in Strömstad and has throughout his life had a true passion for poker. Five years ago he moved to Uppsala in order to study technical physics, but is now focusing on poker. "It goes without saying that we wanted him in our stable of sponsored players. Jonas started his career by playing our free tournaments and has developed into one of the most formidable online players'' said Edward Ihre, MD of Ladbrokes Poker".
Jonas 25, has showcased his skills many times, his best performance online, was winning more than $150,000 in Ladbrokes Poker high stakes game The Legends Reunion on Ladbrokes in November 2007.
"It's a really satisfying feeling to finally become a part of Team Ladbrokes, it is where I've played poker all of my 'pokerlife'". The competitive poker that is offered at Ladbrokes has developed my game into what it is today said, Jonas "Nebuchad" Danielsson.
