December is a big month for independent online poker room MANSION.
MANSION Poker's US$250K Added Tournament Series kicked off Monday December 4th with 219 players participating in the first event of the series - a $50+$5 buy-in tournament with $5,000 cash added to the prize pool.
This added-value event marks the first of a month long run of events on MANSION Poker where the aggressive 2006 entrant to the online poker market is adding over $250K in cash to tournaments throughout the series.
Early players in the series stand to take advantage of serious value propositions unheard of in other online poker rooms. As a new and independent poker room, the value added to these tournaments is further boosted by the high-ratio of value-to-participants, as word about MANSION and their 'add to player value' philosophy begins to gather momentum.
MANSION Member Mobay was the inaugural event winner walking away with over $4,300 in cash for his first place finish. Mobay knocked out Tampataxcpa after a tense heads-up finish, with Mobay pulling off a straight with the JhTd in hand. Tampataxcpa’s AsTh needed the Jack for the top ended gutshot straight draw, while Mobay had more outs to catch. The flop came Kd 6h Qc. Tampataxcpa went All In and Mobay called, hitting 9c on the River to finish nicely in first place.
