Poker Player Magazine
Magazine ReviewPoker Player magazine has been around for the past couple of years. Unlike Bluff & Card Player, this magazine is more readily available in newsagents, and only costs £1.50. Poker Player is mainly UK focused, but the chaps on board do well to cover some major events around the world, and also bag the odd Poker Star for an interview. The magazine is part of the Dennis Publications, who own Maxim, so you can expect the same kind of "lad's mag" editorial and layout, but with less female flesh on show. Despite this, the strategy and advice featured is of top quality and with contributors like Nick Wealthall and Paul Jackson, you can't go far wrong.
