Poker Game Variation - 3-5-7

  • Highest hand wins
  • Ace plays both high and low for straights.
  • Players act clockwise from the dealer
  1. All players ante.
  2. Deal 3 cards down to each player.
  3. Players declare if they are in or out as in Guts. Those who stay in compare hands with threes being wild, no Straights or Flushes. Losers pay the winner the current amount of the pot. If there is a tie, winners split the money from other players who lost.
  4. Deal 2 more cards down to each player including those who did not stay in previously. Players declare and those who stay in compare hands with Fives being wild (Threes no longer wild) and Straights and Flushes exist. Losers pay winner.
  5. Deal 2 more cards down to each player including those who did not stay in previously. PLayers declare and those who stay in compare hands with Sevens being wild (Threes and Fives no longer wild. Losers pay winner.
  6. If no one has 3 points, the pot stays and the game resumes at step 1.

Note: A point is earned by being the only person to stay in during any declaration. Three points win.
