Prior to becoming a professional poker player, Dave worked as a computer programmer for various companies. Ultimately his 70+ hour weeks severely restricted the time he could play poker. As a result, Colclough decided to quit his career to focus on poker full-time. Dave have been playing in poker competitions at casinos since he was 21 and has won over 100 live tournaments in various disciplines including No Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Hold'em, Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha, 7 Card Stud, Omaha Hi-Low Split and Dealer's Choice. He is considered one of Europe's best Omaha players. In 2004 he was inducted to The European Hall of Fame.
