PKR wants to bring the live playing experience to the PC. To do this they've given users a wide range of options such as being able to model and style your player, the ability to buy "chip tricks" and be able to show your emotions when you win or lose a hand. PKR is way ahead of the rest in terms of graphics and display, plus they're constently making improvements as well. By using a video game feel PKR have attracted their fair share of fish too. The traffic is steady, with most people playing the lower stakes cash games and tournaments. A good or semi solid player should easiliy be able to make some money at this site against the soft competition. All in all, PKR is definitely worth downloading as it's unlike any online poker room you've played at before. The graphics are great, the gameplay fun, and the competition's easy! What more are you after?

The software takes up over 600 MB on your hard drive, but the space used is well worth it.

You can develop your character/avatar for use at the tables. In addition you can taunt and brag at your opponents at the table as well as giving off fake tells. You can also purchase chip tricks to show off at the felt and intimidate your opponents. PKR feels more like a computer game than playing poker, but in a good way.

The lobby itself is easily navigable and more pleasing to the eye than most available. The only thing missing from the lobby is the vital flop statistics. It is possible to multi-table on PKR, but it's advisable not to use the full 3d for your purposes as it will slow your computer down.

Overall, you will be blown away by the graphics and the playing experience. PKR can't come recommended enough.

PKR are a new site which are independent of any network, as such traffic is yet to reach really busy levels. You'd expect numbers to swell quickly as PKR is like no other site. Currently at peak times there are around 2,000 cash game players and 5,000 tournament players.

Micro-limit and small stakes hold'em is the order of the day at this site. The standard of play is pretty fish; which is excellent for players with a bit of knowledge. Watch out though, there are some competent players trying to vacuum up the dead money.

Omaha is available too, but there's little or no traffic until more users are recruited. It shouldn't be too long since these games are populated if people are still signing up at the current rate.
