Ladbrokes Poker - Tournaments
Ladbrokes have a very good selection of tournaments with wide ranges of buyin. What I particularly like is that they run deep stack tournaments at all levels of buyin - not just high stakes. Ladbrokes Poker also have a good mix of freezeout, rebuy and double chance tournaments. On top of this they run some great qualifying packages fro majore poker events as well as their exclusive events like the Poker Million and the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise.
The biggest tournament of the week at Ladbrokes is the $100K Guaranteed and takes place on Sunday at 19:00. It costs $100 +$9 to enter and has half price rebuys for the first hour, followed by an add-on. This tournament attracts around 500-600 runners which usually create an overlay of around $5-$10K.
Another popular tournament is the weekly "Who is the Daddy Tournament" which is a $60K Guaranteed Freezeout and costs $300 + $20 to enter. The tournament is so called because if you win it, Ladbrokes name the tournament after you the following week. This event usually gets around 200 runners.
Other notable Ladbrokes Poker tournaments include:
- Mon, Weds, Thurs, $100 rebuys $30K Guaranteed at 20.00. Usually around 150 runners.
- Fri and Sat $50 rebuys $15K Guaranteed at 20.00. Usually 100 - 150 runners.
- Daily - $250 + $20 freezeout at 14.30, $4K Guaranteed. Usually 16 - 30 runners.
The Sit and Go tournaments are also well populated. They run from micro stakes up to $200 + $15 (higher stakes are less frequent) and give the user 1500 in starting chips, as opposed to 1,000 chip versions on other Microgaming sites.
